How do the post workshop supervision sessions work and why do I need to complete it?

After completing the training, you will receive your CPD certificate.
To be listed on the BWRT®South Africa practitioner list visible to the public, you are required to undergo a one-hour supervision sessions with an appointed BWRT® South African supervisor.
In line with international standards with all major therapeutic modalities, it is essential to uphold the standard and quality of therapy in public practice.
Upon completing your supervision session, your profile will be updated and added to our public database.
Supervision sessions typically involve case study discussions or protocol practice, tailored to the needs and agreements between the Supervisor and Practitioner, and last approximately 60 minutes.

The supervision fee for 2025 is set at R1200 per hour, payable directly to the Supervisor. If you are a Registered Counsellor or Clinical Social Worker, please enquire about the reduced rate for these sessions.
