What You Will Learn in the BWRT Grief Course
The BWRT Grief Course equips practitioners with the skills to effectively assess and treat complicated and normal grief using the Griefbuster protocol. Participants will learn:
- How to identify unresolved grief – Recognising hidden grief patterns even when grief isn’t the primary issue.
- Effective questioning techniques – How to sensitively explore a client’s response to loss and uncover emotional triggers.
- Assessing grief complexity – Differentiating between normal grief and complicated grief requiring intervention.
- Handling unresolved anger – Addressing past conflicts with the deceased before grief therapy begins.
- The role of BWRT’s Virtual World Protocol – Clearing emotional blocks before implementing grief treatment.
- Guiding clients through Griefbuster – Using the protocol to reduce emotional pain while preserving positive memories.
- Providing reassurance to clients – Explaining how therapy removes suffering but not cherished memories.
This comprehensive, practical course ensures that practitioners can confidently support clients through grief, enabling them to heal and move forward with emotional clarity.
