Booking Process

Supervision bookings are managed via the Calendly system.

The Supervision Template contains the Calendly link for you to book your supervision slot.

• Each practitioner books a 30-minute supervision slot.

• Supervision runs every Saturday from 11h00 – 14h00.

• You may be asked to slightly adjust your selected time to ensure continuous back-to-back scheduling.

• Your booking is confirmed once payment is received.

• The Zoom link will be sent automatically via email after booking.

You are welcome to log in at any time during the session (11h00–14h00), even before your allocated slot, to participate in the shared learning process.

Timing and Buffer

• Each practitioner is allocated a 30-minute supervision slot.
• While we aim to adhere strictly to scheduled times, meaningful supervision sometimes requires brief extensions to ensure completeness and clarity.
• Please allow for a 5-minute buffer on either side of your allocated time.
• We value punctuality and professional structure, but we prioritise thorough supervision. Your patience and flexibility contribute to maintaining quality for all participants.

Group Supervision Fee:

• R950 per participant
• Payment secures your booking
• The compulsory supervision session must be completed before further progression within the BWRT® pathway.

Supervision Guidelines

Supervision may be completed with:

• Rafiq Lockhat (strictly limited to practitioners who trained directly with him), or

• Any approved BWRT® supervisor listed in the official handbook.

Presentation Requirements

All case presentations must follow the official structured supervision template. No alternative formats will be accepted unless aligned with the template content.

• You will have 20 minutes to present your case.

• The remaining time will be used for structured feedback and discussion.

• Questions may be posed by both the supervisor and fellow practitioners.

Supervision is a professional learning environment. Both successful cases and cases where challenges were encountered are appropriate and encouraged. Complex cases contribute significantly to collective learning.

You are required to:

• Share your screen while presenting the completed supervision template, or

• Present your case via PowerPoint, provided the structured format is adhered to.

All participants must have their cameras on for the full duration of the session.

Once you have completed your presentation and feedback segment, you may exit the session.
You are also welcome to join before your allocated slot and remain after your slot for additional learning.

Eligibility Criteria

Supervision with Rafiq Lockhat is strictly limited to practitioners who completed their BWRT® training with him.

If you trained in another country, you must contact your original trainer to arrange supervision.

This supervision offering is exclusively available to:

• South African practitioners registered with the HPCSA, or

• Trainees of Rafiq Lockhat.
