In April 2024, we were privileged to be invited back by the Community Keepers organisation to train their next group of Social Workers. The overwhelmingly positive feedback from our first training session in October 2023 made this follow-up truly feel like an honour.
This session provided another opportunity to implement our unique hybrid training style. Attendees from the Western Cape offices joined in person, while new participants from Gauteng and the Eastern Cape attended online. Despite the challenges posed by power cuts and intermittent internet connections in the Helderberg farming area, the weekend was a resounding success, thanks to the incredible dedication of the attendees and the tireless efforts of my BWRT® team. Managing the logistics and overcoming these technical hurdles was no small feat, and their commitment ensured a seamless experience for all involved.
The setting in Stellenbosch, with its stunning landscapes, added to the enriching experience. It was truly inspiring to spend time with such dedicated individuals working to make a real difference in their communities. We look forward to continuing this partnership and contributing to the impactful work of the Community Keepers organisation.
