Course Overview
Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD) is a complex and pervasive mental health condition that significantly impacts emotions, behaviour, relationships, and self-perception. Individuals with BPD often struggle with impulsivity, emotional instability, intense fear of abandonment, self-destructive behaviors, and unstable relationships. These patterns can lead to self-harm, addiction, eating disorders, reckless spending, and difficulties in maintaining employment or personal connections.
One of the key challenges in working with BPD clients is their defensive mechanisms, such as splitting, projection, acting out, and avoidance, which make traditional therapeutic approaches difficult. However, BrainWorking Recursive Therapy® (BWRT®) provides a structured, neuroscience-based approach to effectively address trauma, maladaptive behaviors, and emotional dysregulation in BPD clients.
This course is designed for mental health professionals seeking effective, structured techniques to support clients with BPD, providing them with a powerful tool to navigate emotional crises and build healthier coping mechanisms.
